In the past, Japanese women of rural farming communities practiced this simple running stitch using white thread on indigo-dyed fabric. DTMHC – Multicultural School Program: Delhi’s Living HeritageDelhi’s Living Heritage Program is a curriculum-based education program designed to introduce Grade 4, 5 and 6 students to the rich and diverse multicultural heritage of the Delhi area.
