DTMHC – Japanese Sashiko EmbroideryOCT 171:00 PM – 3:00 PM Rosey Bourne teaches Japanese Sashiko. This technique is primarily used to mend, reinforce, and embellish garments. In the past, Japanese women of rural farming communities practiced this simple running stitch using white thread on indigo-dyed fabric. Learn the basics of stained glass in this 2-day course led by local artist Ingrid Zyma-Irvin. DTMHC – Multicultural School Program: Delhi’s Living HeritageDelhi’s Living Heritage Program is a curriculum-based education program designed to introduce Grade 4, 5 and 6 students to the rich and diverse multicultural heritage of the Delhi area.
