Norfolk County Agricultural Hall of Fame

Launched in 2014 by the Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum, the Norfolk County Agricultural Hall of Fame aims to honour “achievements, results, benefits, and innovations accrued to agriculture and rural development on a local and/or broader basis as a result of the nominee’s volunteer and paid activities.”

The nomination committee makes yearly selections from applications submitted by the public. To nominate a deserving member of our community, fill out and return the form below to the Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum.

APPLICATIONS are currently being accepted for the 2024 Agricultural Hall of Fame. Deadline to apply is June 29, 2024.

Dogwood Awards

Launched in 2007, these awards acknowledge the tireless efforts of dedicated individuals and groups who have built Norfolk’s lively and successful heritage and culture community.

Named after Norfolk County’s official flower, these awards honour outstanding achievements and contributions to heritage and culture in Norfolk County.

Awards are presented in each of the following categories:

Individual Award
Group award
Youth Award
Lifetime Achievement award
Heritage Property Stewardship (NEW)

A panel representing the Norfolk County Heritage and Culture sites will review the nominations. The award recipients will be announced at a reception held in their honour and through the local media.
