NEW Online Collections portal

During the 2023 Ontario Heritage Week, Norfolk County Heritage & Culture launched a new Online Collections portal. Here you can search and view nearly 2,000 objects, photographs and documents from our collection.

This is a huge accomplishment for the team. They have put a great deal of time and effort into this initiative over the past year and as a result starting today anyone from anywhere in the world can learn more about Norfolk County’s history.

Online collections

The Norfolk County collection consists of approximately 350,000 three-dimensional artifacts, photographs, works of art, and archival materials (including 250,000 individual land records). The mandate of the collection is to represent the cultural history of Norfolk County. Objects collected must be of municipal significance.

Catalogue records will be added to this publicly accessible database on a regular basis, so please check back with us often to see more! ENJOY!
