DTMHC – Gel Printmaking with Irma MakariunaiteAUG 221:00 PM – 3:00 PM  Gel printmaking is a monoprinting technique that creates one of a kind textured artwork that incorporates stencils, found objects, and printing ink to transfer designs on to paper. DTMHC – Japanese Sashiko EmbroideryOCT 171:00 PM – 3:00 PM Rosey Bourne teaches Japanese Sashiko. This technique is primarily used to mend, reinforce, and embellish garments. In the past, Japanese women of rural farming communities practiced this simple running stitch using white thread on indigo-dyed fabric.
