7 December 2024

Today’s Catch – A Film by Jeff Speed

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT

Inspired by his wife’s dad, “Smitty”, who captained the fish tug Ciscoette for much of his 40 year fishing career, this documentary captures the raw beauty and grace of the fishermen/women of Port Dover.  Port Dover’s commercial fishing industry has sustained for over 150 years, with its boats matching the rhythms of the lake to harvest food for our plates.

Join us December 7 at 4pm for a premiere screening of Today’s Catch. Q&A with Rick Misner to follow.

Admission by donation to the museum (min $5/person) and/or bring items for the Port Dover Food Bank.
