Captain’s Polar Bear Levee January 1 Doors open at 1:00pm Celebrate the New Year and join us at the museum on January 1st. Bring your fiddle or other instrument and join in the fun, or sit back and enjoy the tunes and company.  Doors will open at 1:00pm and the levee starts after the Polar Bear Dip! PDHM – Today’s Catch Premiere

Today’s Catch – A Film by Jeff Speed Inspired by his wife’s dad, “Smitty”, who captained the fish tug Ciscoette for much of his 40 year fishing career, this documentary captures the raw beauty and grace of the fishermen/women of Port Dover.  Port Dover’s commercial fishing industry has sustained for over 150 years, with its boats matching the rhythms of the lake to harvest food for our plates.
