DTMHC – Summer Camp

SPACES STILL AVAILABLE!

Camp runs from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with the exception of holidays. Register for a single day or for a whole week!

This camp is geared at children ages 5-10. Children must be 5 years old on their day of camp. Proof of age required at drop off.

Cost: $36.00 per day, per child.

Registration:

Summer camp registration opens on Wednesday, May 7th. Registration can be done either in person at the museum or online via Norfolk County’s ENCORE system. Click here to be taken to ENCORE.

Cancellation Policy:

If there is not enough interest in a specific camp
program, the program will be cancelled at the discretion of museum staff, and those who have registered will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued if the registrant chooses to no longer participate.

Weekly Themes:

Mad Science (July 21-25)       

Make a volcano, discover the secrets of the stars, give answers to the universe’s hardest questions! Together, kids will be able to discover and get crazy with awesome science experiments, fun brain teasers, STEM challenges and competitions that may leave you stumped! Care to take on the challenge with us?

Animal Adventures (July 28-August 1)

Whip out your cameras and binoculars, because together, we will be exploring the hundreds of animals that frequent our world, from elephants to mice, every single one plays a crucial part! Kids will go on a fantastic safari, playing animal-based games, making crafts, learning cool facts, and exploring their diverse habitats!

Kingdom Knights (August 11-15)                  

Round up your cavaliers, it’s time to take the oath and unsheathe your swords! Together, boys and girls alike will battle dragons, learn of mythical stories and creatures, consult the realm’s wizard, and defeat any enemy! So, grab your suit of armor, saddle your stallion, and let’s ride into the bountiful challenges that await us!

Wild, Wild West (August 18-22)

Yeehaw! From frontier ballads to gunslingers, the Wild West is chock filled with adventure, challenges and activities. Join us for gold digging, riding off into the sunset, and learning some good ‘ol banjo music! Will you straighten your cowboy hat and meet us as high noon for some amazing playtime?
