Delhi Tobacco Museum, Port Dover Harbour Museum and Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum will all be closed Saturday October 12 for Thanksgiving. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Calling all witches and wizards, ghosts and goblins – this one’s for the kids! Paint your own pie pumpkin, take part in a Costume Parade around Riverfront Park (weather dependent), and then get your groove on in a museum dance party. Don’t forget to grab your treat bag!

Kick off your holiday shopping by visiting Bowlby Bros. & Co., the museum’s famous gift shop. Featuring home and garden products, unique seasonal ornaments and fabulous stocking stuffers. The museum will be open extended hours to join other vendors in Waterford for a night of holiday splendor.
The Waterford Chamber of Commerce’s Starlight Shopping are two evenings geared at bringing the community together to kick off the holiday shopping season and encourage Norfolk County residents to BUY LOCAL! Several local businesses – including the Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum – will be extending their open hours in the evening to promote local shopping. WHAM would like to invite vendors to use the museum space as an opportunity for local vendors to take part!

Vintage Tractor Show at WHAM

WHAM will be hosting its first annual vintage tractor show in celebration of all things Pumpkinfest. Featuring a variety of tractor makes and models on the east grounds of the museum. Have a tractor to show-off?

The Agricultural Hall of Fame at WHAM honours and celebrates Norfolk County’s outstanding contributions to agriculture and promotes the importance of these achievements. Join us as we formally recognize the 2024 recipients and unveil the new exhibit highlighting their accomplishments.

In this introductory workshop to the junk journal craft you will learn how to assemble and embellish your own Christmas Advent Junk Journal. Take your keepsake journal home and fill it with your holiday memories or gift it to a friend! Just in time for Christmas. This workshop is perfect for beginners! All supplies provided. This workshop is recommended for ages 18+.

Calling all fiber artists and needleworkers! Whether your hobby of choice is knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, crochet, felting, or any other handmade piece of art worked up with needles, thread, or yarn, bring your projects and join us at the museum on the first Thursday of each month for a relaxing morning of crafting and connection.
Beginners welcome. Must have your own craft supplies. Pre-registration not required.

Spiritualism was a popular trend in the Victorian era reflecting a widespread fascination with the afterlife as well as the enigmatic workings of emerging communication technologies like photography, the telegraph and telephone. Learn about the mysteries of Victorian spiritualism, and then partake in a modern day reading with medium Shannon Easton.

In this tour, small groups will be guided through the mill by students from the drama department of Delhi District Secondary School at designated time slots. Hear about the ghosts and shadowy energy that built up over a hundred years of accidents and injury.

One night only – a special Pumpkinfest show! Join Inspector Wilson, the 19th century detective, on a guided stroll through downtown to hear the true ghostly stories of Waterford’s past.
Tickets will be available on Eventbrite – $20/adult.
Today’s Catch – A Film by Jeff Speed
Inspired by his wife’s dad, “Smitty”, who captained the fish tug Ciscoette for much of his 40 year fishing career, this documentary captures the raw beauty and grace of the fishermen/women of Port Dover. Port Dover’s commercial fishing industry has sustained for over 150 years, with its boats matching the rhythms of the lake to harvest food for our plates.
Join us December 7 at 4pm for a premiere screening of Today’s Catch (30 mins). Q&A with Rick Misner to follow.
