Calling all fibre artists and needleworkers! Whether your hobby of choice is knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, crochet, felting, or any other handmade piece of art worked up with needles, thread, or yarn, bring your projects and join us at the museum on the first Thursday of each month for a relaxing morning of crafting and connection.  Beginners welcome. Must have your own craft supplies. Pre-registration not required.

Harbour Street Block Party

Join us this Saturday to celebrate the Harbour Street construction (nearly) being done! ⭐️
The museum is open 10am-4pm with a book sale, scavenger hunt and craft for kids! We'll be handing out Port Dover Postcards for FREE! 📬 As always, admission to the museum is just by donation.
There will be local bands playing music at the Norfolk Juice Co from 1-3pm, we hear there may also be some watermelon freezies available!
A little further down at St. George St. the Norfolk County Public Library will have activities for kids 📚
Come see our freshly enhanced street and support the businesses that call this street home.

PDHM Pumpkin Painting Party

Kids! Join us for the perfect pumpkin painting party. Paint your own pie pumpkin. Don’t forget to grab your treat bag! Ages 3-10.

PDHM – Christmasfest

We can barely HO-HO-HOLD in all of our excitement for Port Dover’s annual ChristmasFest celebration!

Stop by the museum before or after the Santa Claus parade to share in a little Christmas cheer with us. We’ve got a festive scavenger hunt on our main floor and a Christmas craft upstairs for ages 3-10.

This event is ADMISSION BY DONATION (cash or a contribution to the Port Dover and Area Lifeline Foodbank).

DTMHC – Light up the Season: Delhi BIA Christmas Party

The Delhi BIA presents “Light up the Season.” Come see the Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre in all its Christmas grandeur. Sip a cup of hot cocoa and try your hand at our seasonal scavenger hunt, then take a picture with olde St. Nick and tell him all of your holiday wishes!

Admission by donation.

PDHM – Three in the Round Concert

Three in the Round: The Single Malt Sessions are back at Port Dover Harbour Museum! A seasoned musical trio, Three in the Round is made up of Gwen Potter, a sought-after English session musician, singer and viola d’amor player, John Harris, a gifted guitarist, mandolinist and singer from Nova Scotia, and Bob MacLean, an East Coast singer/songwriter with a penchant for Celtic guitar. For their Single Malt Sessions, the group brings together the very best folk/trad song and tune selections from the British Isles, France, and Atlantic Canada for a special performance “in the round” at PDHM.

Holiday Night Market at the Museum

Join us for the Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum’s inaugural Holiday Night Market! Enjoy an special evening of holiday shopping, festive music and complimentary hot apple cider!

Vendors will be selected based on this criteria and space availability. 

-Vendor application form due on Thursday, November 27 – 4:00pm. Submit to the provided email or in person at the museum.

-Accepted vendors will be notified by Saturday, November 29 – 4:00pm.

-Payment of $25.00 due Thursday, December 4 – 4:00pm. Payment details provided upon acceptance.
