Situated atop a small hill overlooking Quance Park in Delhi, Ontario, this open-concept museum, built in 1979 as a model of a typical tobacco pack barn, houses a large agricultural collection which includes exhibits on tobacco, ginseng and alternative agriculture grown in Norfolk County.
Permanent and featured exhibits highlight local community history and its diverse multicultural heritage.
While on your visit to the Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre (DTMHC), please make sure to ask Museum Staff to tour the Heritage Designated Tobacco Kiln on site and see for yourself the interior of a once functional tobacco kiln with stick-hung tobacco still in place.

Parking
Parking is FREE to all visitors of the Museum. Parking is located to the East of our building directly in front of our Tobacco Kiln.
There is additional Accessible drop-off in front of the Museum. Vehicles are not permitted to park in this area. Accessible parking located in parking lot.
Accessibility
Our Museum is fully committed to accessibility for all visitors. Located to the West of our building, we offer accessible grading leading to the entrance on the East of our building where there is a power assist entrance. The building is equipped with a lift for second-floor access.
Norfolk County Archives (NCA)

Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10 am to 4 pm. Saturdays by appointment.
Appointments are not required, however, they are recommended in order for archives staff to better serve you. Book online or contact us for an appointment.

The Norfolk County Archives (NCA) is committed to preserving Norfolk County’s heritage and making it available to the public.
Located in the heart of downtown Simcoe, the original heritage home was built in 1845 in the Georgian/Loyalist style and is one of the oldest residential brick structures in Simcoe. The Norfolk County Archives located in the addition at the rear of the heritage home has an extensive collection of archival materials available to the public for the avid genealogist, local history enthusiast, or anyone interested in conducting research!

The Port Dover Harbour Museum (PDHM) promotes and preserves the history of Port Dover, with focus on Port Dover’s commercial fishing heritage. It also shares the stories of the small port and harbour communities within Norfolk County and their ties to Lake Erie.
The museum connects with residents and visitors by actively collecting memories and material culture, while creating an engaging experience for all.
We work to ensure that Port Dover’s historic role in the freshwater commercial fishing industry, and the history of this beachside community, is preserved.

The reading room houses books and research relating to the history of Port Dover. Please call ahead if you would like to conduct research.
