WHAM – Summer Camp

REGISTRATION OPENS WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 2026

Camp runs from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with the exception of holidays. Register for a single day or for a whole week!

This camp is geared at children ages 5-10. Children must be 5 years old on their day of camp. Proof of age required at drop off.

Cost: $37.25 per day, per child.

Registration:

Summer camp registration opens on Wednesday, May 6th. Registration can be done either in person at the museum or online via Norfolk County’s ENCORE system. Click here to be taken to ENCORE.

Cancellation Policy:

If there is not enough interest in a specific camp program, the program will be cancelled at the discretion of museum staff, and those who have registered will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued if the registrant chooses to no longer participate.

Weekly Themes:

Outdoor Explorers:
JUL 6-10

Campers will learn to appreciate the great outdoors by going on nature hikes, growing their very own plants, and various nature related crafts. Campers will also explore activities that have minimal impact on the environment that they can do at home.

Creative Kids:
JUL 13-17

Take a break from reading and writing and kick-start Summer with arts and crafts. We will explore various art forms like painting and sculpting and look at works by famous artists. We will also make our own tie-dye creations, paper mache, and much more!

Science Superstars:
JUL 20-24

Through engaging activities and workshops, Science Superstars week will spark their natural curiosity while inspiring a love for science! From nature-themed camps to animal adventures, to technology-based programming, there is sure to be a project that appeals to every science lover!

Superb Sports:
AUG 4-7

Love sports? Want to learn about Canadian Olympians and past Olympic Games? This is the week for you! Campers will compete in Olympic themed events and activities to strengthen their sportsmanship. Silly sports and relay races will teach campers how to work as a team and how to be a good sport.

Blast To The Past:
AUG 10-14

This week campers will take a journey back in time and learn what life was like in a variety of time periods. We will celebrate dinosaur days, walk like an Egyptian, experience the pioneer life, and have some fun with flower power. Campers will play games, do crafts, and make costumes related to these time periods to make history fun! 

Myths & Monsters:
AUG 17-21

Fairytales and Monsters, Disney and Doctor Seuss. This week students will explore the world of make-belief and make their own mythical persona. We will look at a wide variety of fictional stories and make our own fairytales and mythical characters.
