Orientation Day Saturday, June 1, 2024 10:00am – 12:30pm

Youth volunteers can offer something unique to our programs, whether you have a special talent or interest or just enjoy working with kids.
The Youth Volunteer and Mentorship Program is offered to youth ages 13 and older. Volunteering is a great way to begin to build a resume, earn school volunteer hours, make new friends, and develop leadership skills.
Before they can begin to volunteer, all youths are required to attend an orientation day at DTMHC. This short session includes an introduction to the museum, Health & Safety and AODA training, a fun museum challenge, and a pizza lunch. After successful completion of the museum orientation, youth volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in programming. Volunteers will be scheduled based on need.
